What we’re talking about
- What’s Your Fear?
- Public Speaking
- Flipping The Script
We All Have Fear
Fear is normal and our fears vary depending on who we are, what our experiences and upbringings have been and what we are up against. The difference in everyone is how we face that fear. Do you give in to it? Feed it and make it larger? Or do you face it head-on and tell it to f*ck off? The choice is ultimately up to you.
The Fear of Public Speaking
My big fear has been public speaking. I didn’t enjoy it and did all I could to avoid it, but suddenly I found myself in a career where it was my job to speak publicly every single day. Then the opportunity arose to speak in front of 6,000 people! I faced my fear and made the choice to defeat it.
Flipping the Script
Whether we like to admit it or not, we tell ourselves things that aren’t true. Whether it’s about relationships or our self-worth or believing what people say about us, if we listen and give in to those thoughts, we choose fear and allow it to become our reality. I’m going to give you some scenarios in which we flip the script and turn the negatives into positives.
Let’s tell fear to f*ck off and live our lives to the fullest!
