I have to admit it. When I was first started my direct sales business, I was skeptical. I HATE being sold too, and I can’t imagine other people like it any better. On the other hand, I like telling people about cool things that have changed my life. So I thought the best plan of action was to try out the product myself. And make sales by being an example.

I had been offered an out of the blue position as an independent entrepreneur at a boutique skin care company. So, naturally, trying this new product involved a big step up in my skin care routine!
I started using the product nightly, and I quickly fell so deep into my routine that I totally forgot to make sales.
Then, someone at work approached me and said, “OH MY GOSH, what do you do to your skin? You’re glowing!”

Are you a social media influencer? You’re not going to gain followers by begging; you’re going to gain followers by posting content that is authentic to YOU.
Are you a business coach? You can email people all day, but your best clients are going to come in when people start catching wind of your success and wanting a piece of it.
Artist? Hang your pictures up in your house. Baker? Eat your dang banana bread in the lunchroom at work.
The bottom line is, when people see how GOOD you have it, they’re going to want that too.
